The product works as advertised, however the USB-C connectors are too loose and do not require repositioning of the cable or else the signal will be lost. This is more of a port issue than the product itself.

I tested this on my Dell XPS 13 and it worked. My 23" Dell Ultrasharp monitor looked as good as it gets with SVGA. I mention this because if your monitor has multiple interfaces like mine, SVGA doesn't look as sharp as some other more modern interfaces. I have not had any issues with this adapter, it works well with the projection systems I have used it with. Although I've also moved on from using PowerPoint when teaching to using blackboards/whiteboards or repeating things verbally and with exercises or worksheets. So I don't use the adapter very often anymore.

I used this product twice before it failed. I bought it under warranty but I don't have the time or energy to look into it. I'm giving it back and will invest in a brand I trust.

After a bad experience with a cheaper product that claimed to do the same thing, it worked the first time. I used it to connect a second monitor (1920x1080) to my laptop via the Thunderbolt/USB port. The first time, the computer didn't even recognize that a second monitor was connected. If you have the same problem as me, try this product.
