After I put it to the test, I found this signal booster to be a complete letdown. Despite being marketed as a top of the line product for extending your Wi-Fi signal, it barely caused any improvement. The only positive was that it was easy to set up. Unfortunately, this is just another example of electronics not living up to their promises. Don't waste your money on this disappointing TV accessory.

Transmitter mode could not be set successfully. I decided to restart the device using the reset button according to the user manual, now the device freezes on startup. Useless and very disappointing junk. To make matters worse, their website www.startech.com is down!
