Really good coat, a little big for me.

Really nice coat, small a little big for my 7 year old but that was to be expected for a starter coat! My only complaint is that the yellow collar bleeds blue, but then again, my seven year old doesn't care ;)

  • The jacket flies like hell, I'm a petite woman so I got youth medicine from boys.

Excellent quality, the best in my rating

Super quality, very thick and soft. Bought my friend a large size for kids and men usually small size. Weight about 120-150, height about 5ft 3-5ft 6in.

Excellent quality! Bring back the Sonics.

I love this jacket! The quality is really good (amazing quilting inside!) I usually wear medium sized women's jackets so I wasn't sure when I ordered the boys jacket but the XL seemed to work with a little more room. You won't be disappointed with this retro starter jacket. Bring back the Sonics!

The jacket is very beautiful. I was surprised it was quilted.

The jacket is very beautiful. I was surprised that it has a quilted lining, so not just a spring or fall jacket. It will fit my grandson next year.

  • I'm about 5'7/125 and have tall boys. The sleeves fit perfectly and it is very warm! I liked it very much!
Cons
  • Fragility: The satin fabric of the jacket is not very durable and can easily fray or tear, especially with frequent use.

Thicker starting jacket! ❤

This jacket is perfect for fall! Nice and dense, very warm for autumn nights! This is a boys size XL and to be honest I could have gone for a big one. I'm 5'5", 165 lbs. If it helps?! Excellent purchase.

Beautiful, stylish, nostalgic coat

Gave it to my 10 year old son for Christmas. It suits him perfectly. This is identical to the old button-down beginner's nylon jackets when I was a kid.

Pros
  • In person it looks even better. The small size was perfect for my 7 year old.

  • The jacket is relatively expensive because it is a youth size and not suitable for all occasions.

Very nice: my review

Excellent quality. I'm 5'7" and the women are usually small while the medium sized boys fit great - a little loose which I wanted. My teenage daughters and ten year old son want it! Excellent quality and bright colors.

Replenishment in sizes!

Beautiful jacket. It took a little while to get here but it's ok. The only real issue I have is the jacket is a bit big and I knew it but I still bought the medium despite being small because there was only 1 left and I just had to have it. It still fits well, but it's not what I really wanted. I just hope they restock the sizes soon because fall is coming and I have a few outfits in mind.

When the seller states the size, it must match the inner workings of the jacket exactly so that the buyer can find the best fit. My son wears a size 10 which is.

Normal mid-size US children's models are 10-12, but this jacket says 12-14 on the inside. The options were s, m, l but the size is indicated on the jacket label. IF the seller provides measurements, they must match the inside of the jacket exactly so the buyer can find the best fit. My son wears a size 10 which is the standard M, the jacket is too big for him and I really need to roll up my sleeves. he's growing up soon though and I really liked the retro feel of the starter jacket on the kid…

Surprised my daughter

Got the Grizzles jacket at a bargain price! My (adult) daughter had a starter satin jacket as a little girl and always fondly remembered how much she liked it, so I jumped at the deal when I saw it but decided black would be a better adult choice than some the other bolder colors of the team.
