This one works great for me

I have a twin engine boat and one of the engines has needed a new starter motor for a year. Water gets into the body and gets into the starters and they rust in the winter. I've tried OEM and the more expensive ones all rust. This works great for me.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Delivery damaged/married

Arrived as used/fitted. The starter has cracks/chips. I have already returned a starter at my own expense, so I will install this here and hope that it works despite the superficial damage.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Almost never

Works well. Make sure you buy the right starter for your skis.

Works well. Make sure you buy the right starter for your skis. I installed this in my 1997 GTI and had to modify the bracket to do it. Also, one of the two pole screws is bent about 45 degrees on the other side. I had to use a bolt from an old starter motor. So did some work but made it usable.

Pros
  • Quick Change

Troubleshooting good for beginners

MM The exit holes were drilled at an angle so it couldn't be installed. Sent back and received another with the same problem. I ended up having to drill holes and secure with nut and bolt, but that makes installation difficult. Only used twice because it was the end of the season but it didn't seem to have any more torque than other post-sale starters. and I've been through 4 this season. Maybe it's time to go OEM.

Pros
  • I ended up buying
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was
