Not as big as I thought. it's unique features portability and multiple light settings are great . I bought to use camping but I'm catching myself using it around the house charging small USB devices I doubt it could charge anything major it didn't like my Samsung note phone but that's expected the red light is awesome if you don't want to blind anyone early morning and the regular light is equivalent to one bright 60 watt bulb

This product is amazing and I have bought dozens. My friend has taken at least 10 to Uganda and the South Sudan. It works very well for the people in the refugee camps. Whenever my friend goes to Africa I give him 3-5 to take with him.

Used for the first time on a 6 day Motocamping trip. Packs down small which is perfect. Gives off great light. That's my review.

This is a fun light. It’s plenty bright and the "self inflating” feature is a huge improvement over other inflatable lights. However, there are some big downsides. The batteries seem to discharge pretty quickly when not in use. If you charge these up, it’s likely they will be near dead when you go to use them one week later. Additionally, there’s a snap on handle that falls off so easily it’s comical. Fun light, but know what you’re getting before you buy.

The picture is on the dimmest setting in my kitchen hanging from a cabinet door. It light the room enough to keep from by bumping into something. It started light all night until I woke up there next morning. I will probably get another as in Texas or grid is not great in cold weather. Live that it charges by solar power, and impressed by how well it luminates a space when blown up. Very lightweight and imagine it works be wonderful for camping.

Handles detaches with very little force, small bumps, light twists. Won’t stay attached to anything in motion like a backpack or in hand while walking. Wouldn’t be surprised if a hummingbird landed on it and the lantern fell off the handle. Hoping these frequent drops don’t damage the device. I love this little Bloomio lantern! I bring it camping so I don’t have to leave a light on in the tent or trailer once the sun goes down. I can simply use the app to turn it on or off, dim or brighten the light, plus it’s fun to be able to change light colors, too. I also own early versions of the Luminaid lanterns, and they are still going strong on solar charging only.

This is amazing, and way more useful than you can imagine. I keep it in my car trunk, and if I'm going to somebody's house at night it's easy to sling it over my wrist and have extra light, both to get stuff out of my trunk and to find my way to the door. I really like these packable lanterns. They are very light weight and portable. Deflated they lay pretty flat and pack well for camping/hiking, keeping in a car, whatever you want. After my first one burned out, I still liked it enough to buy several more of various sizes. As a lantern the give plenty of light for close general purpose lighting. This product has come in handy during power outages and just for regular everyday usage. It is light weight and easy to use and the added phone charging truly comes in handy as well.

I used this for 10 days in the Best Buy with most days getting full direct bright sunlight. It worked well as a lantern, but got maybe 10% charge when used exclusively on my iphone 11. So, emergency use only. Definitely no way you could use it for both. Surprise bonus: it appears to charge off incandescent light too.

There is so much to love about this lantern but sadly it is overshadowed by the poor quality materials used in the handle construction. They use an orange spandex material to cover a plastic handle. The adhesive used failed after two uses, literally just turned it on. The fabric peeled off and the Velcro became stuck to the opposing side. You are now left with a box with no handle. Super inconvenient for camping and even home emergency use.

Functions very well as a lantern, and as a lantern battery life is great. Charges a phone slowly but works. May not be effective in extremely hot temperatures.

Can’t find a better product description. This lantern keeps a good charge and has many of the functions you will find useful when you need it. The brightness is a strong point and it can be lessened to conserve power. Additionally, red light is good for reading.

Years ago I bought an inflatable solar light from Luminaid. Years later it still performs and works as if brand new. I recently added this light to my camping gear. It packs nice and flat and does indeed charge your cell phone. The light is bright and collapsed with relative ease. I LOVE the color coordinated charging cord. No need to guess what cord goes with what device. Hopefully this will last for a long long time like my other solar lantern.

I used this on a camping trip out in the desert, and I was glad I brought this along. At full brightness, the Luminaid will light up your tent like it's midday. I used it more on the lower settings for reading or doing some small tasks and the lamp was perfect for it. The velcro strap can be used to make it hang from the top of the tent. I didn't run out of battery over a 2 day trip, but I did set the lamp outside in the sun to help charge it as much as I could. I don't know how much it helped.

Charges quickly and holds the charge. It’s a reliable way to charge your phone whether you’re camping or at home when the lights go dark. Kids love it, good night light.

I went on a backpacking trip with this and I thought the charger part would charge with sun like the lantern part does but it didn’t. It needs to be charged with an actual plug for the portable side to work. But the brightness on the lantern was okay for our tent.
