StayCoolPumps Repair Replaces Crusader Sherwood Review

Through trial and error, I found that this replacement part works seamlessly to regulate my engine's temperature and prevent overheating. It was easy to install and has exceeded my expectations in terms of durability and reliability. The only con I can think of is that it may not be compatible with certain types of engines.

I would replace the bearing with a known make, not those Chinese fakes - seals leak too easily and early. There were 3 failures in 4 months (I am the owner of the store). . Despite a small amount of seal leakage, bearings are NOT supposed to fail this prematurely, but they do! My research resulted in the matching bearing number R10-2RS in skf/timken/ntn/etc.

This repair was on a 1983 Silverton raw water pump with a 270hp Crusader engine. You can use this regardless of which direction your pump rotates (clockwise or counterclockwise). It can be a bit difficult to understand if you've never rebuilt it, but all the pieces fit together nicely. Just take your time and take your time. I would buy this product again.
