Using the quilt pusher

It's easy to use. The back of the sheet catches on my sewing table so the sheet doesn't move when I quilt in free motion. The smooth surface helps me move a large piece of fabric.

Pros
  • Got it!
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works great with Notions

I've been quilting for about 6 years and didn't think I needed a slider. When I took it out of the box it fit perfectly. The fabric slipped down the Sew Steady. no matter. It was sent in a round tube which I kept. When I get back to sewing normally, I roll up the Sew Steady and put it in a storage bag until I need it again.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Factor Set

Too little use for so many additional problems.

Didn't stick well in the corners causing the material to catch when sewn. The stickiness didn't last very long and even if you can wash it it will get sticky again unless you want to add this to your sewing routine 3 or 4 times during sewing and pull it off to replace the bobbin and Stick it on duct tape. on the edges so the fabric doesn't cling to the slight extra smoothness I might add I would refuse. I threw mine away after a day.

Pros
  • Quilting
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Looks flimsy but still holds up

Bought to help my wife quilt. Having two of these go fully into production it is in perfect condition and certainly a lot better than I thought when I opened it. Resistance by about 25%, which is important for hands when running so much fabric through the machine repeatedly. Perfect fit on the sewing machine extension, although I don't think you'll want to put it on and take it off many times as the adhesion will gradually fade.

  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Big and Chunky

The best I've ever used!

I've had a pink Superslider for a long time and bought this one because I couldn't find another one and this one was a lot bigger. I like the size, although I would like more. It's really easy to use. Keep the included tube (you can't fight with swords!) so you can store it when not in use. It sticks easily to the stem of my Bernina, the Sew Steady acrylic table insert, the surface of my sewing table, and also the cutting mat I keep on the table next to my insert. It's also easy to accept. I…
