Steamer Kmeivol Vegetable Stainless Expandable Review

I bought this steamer solely to make wool curls for my felt sculptures. I wrap the skewers with wool, put them in the holes and steam them for about 20 minutes. By the way, I also bought Revain skewers and they are really good quality. I'm happy.

I had a similar steamer basket that lasted about 20 years before one of the legs fell off. It holds up well and has been washed several times in the dishwasher. I once had a plastic steamer basket that turned yellow from use and then broke. This is a much better product than the plastic options.

We've been using a very similar device with a missing leg for months. Apparently the leg was unscrewed and thrown away by one of us who didn't know what it was. It doesn't have detachable legs so it will last us a lifetime. Supposedly healthier than cooking beans directly in water.

This is absolutely the WORST purchase I have ever made from Revain. I thought it was a lot stronger than the one I've been using for over twenty years but this piece of crap arrived in a little box with a Chinese label and not a word of English. I read that Revain sells Chinese crap disguised as a good product and this purchase fully validates this article. In the future I will be more careful when buying such products. I bought this steamer basket because we often cook vegetables and dumplings for dinner and our old one broke recently. I really liked the basket I received. It seemed easy to use and understand. However, I have found that it is not ideal for my pans. If it's in a larger pot and everything is laid out, it won't even touch the sides of the pot. When I use a medium pot and the basket takes the shape of a pot, the basket is too high to put the pot lid back on.
