I'm a 42 regular and the large was just the right size

Sometimes you aren't sure how big "large" is, well in this case I'm a 42 regular and fit perfectly. Hope that give you an idea of range.

Quickly and fit great

Fits great and got it quickly, This jacket is great, seems like a durable material instead of the regular crappy costume material. Looks great and fits fairly well all around.

Good quality. It’s a little big.

So my boyfriend tried it on. It’s pretty large on him but we can take it in easily. The fabric is good quality tho and is gonna be great for what it’s for.

Great look. Can work on a woman.

Bought this for a women’s outfit, and was pleased with the fit (women’s M, bought men’s XS). At 5’4” the tails were a bit longer than I would have liked, but not so long they got in the way (hit below the calf). Worked with other pieces to make a great steampunk-type villain costume. Material is fairly thin for a jacket, but is opaque and hangs properly. Required a bit of light ironing out of the package, but that is to be expected.

Purple Satin Coat is Awesome for DIY Willy Wonka Costume

The look is just right for both a steampunk-circus-ringmaster look, and for our DIY take on the Willy Wonka costume. The fit was just right and slightly loose (got the XL) so it allowed for layering with an undershirt, dress shirt, vest, etc.The other reviews said it ran snug, so we went generously with size to give room and it's really perfect in terms of arm length, chest width, and real buttons are spaced just right down the front, etc., it's really perfectly fitting for a guy who is 5"11…

4xl too small for a 2xl person

Not sure how the size chart is measured but the 4x is too small for me and I usually wear a 2x shirt. Also took almost a month to arrive from China.

Fit perfectly. I was the best leprechaun!

It fit perfectly. It was a men’s jacket so I expected it to not fit me 100% like I would have wanted but that’s not the product’s fault! It was great!

Great quality for great price.

I used these jackets for a middle school production. The jackets fit the students very well, and the quality was very good for the price. The sizing chart was very accurate. Would buy these again.

Not for pear shaped ppl.

I ordered a size bigger to be safe. My chest was fine, the vest was loose at the top, tight at the bottom. Arms were too long. Yet the vest area is way shorter than i expected. It worked for Halloween.

They run very small

Loved the product, exactly what I expected for the price, wear a 52 which is on the size chart a XXlg so ordered a XXXXlg and it was still small.

Very thin material - my new review

Super thin material and the tail coat part was very long. It was a nice red color and might have been a good fit had we ordered 2 sizes smaller

Excellent jacket ! good for me

This jacket was an absolute SUCCESS during Halloween and everyone knew exactly who I was !I highly recommend this not only for it’s accuracy but for its quality and price. Material is thin and lightweight and allows you to breathe. I wouldn’t recommend washing/drying it . Definitely dry clean this jacket if you wish to clean it !
