🪑 Steelcase Series 1 Office Chair with Carpet Casters in Graphite/Pumpkin - Quality and Style Combined Review

I received my chair today and it seems good enough. Unfortunately, it is only fixed in the vertical position. I'd like to see a setting where you could lock it in the mid-tilt position. However, the reason for the 1 star rating is that I received a broken, non-working armrest when I bought it. The armrest stays in the lowest position and cannot be raised, making it unusable for me. Pretty disappointing.

My only regret is that I didn't order this sooner. WFH has been coming for almost a year and the previous chair + back support cushion no longer fits. The color of the chair seems a bit darker than in the photo, which is perfect for me. I'm a little worried about the quality of the adjustable armrests. Nice home office chair; does not take up too much space; but still provide the comfort and support you need. The curve and stretchy material in the back provide excellent, secure support. I'm just over 5' tall and had a lot of trouble finding a chair for my home office that was ergonomically appropriate. So far so good with this one. I wish I knew Steelcase also has an adjustable table that goes deeper than the one I bought. This chair was very easy to assemble.
