It is strong and cannot lock the wheel. The thread has a size of 12 mm and a thread pitch of 1.75. Nuts are not supplied so when ordering nuts remember that the thread pitch is 1.75.

4 inch wheel with rubber tread. it has a roller bearing. I had to remove the wheel to lubricate the bearing. there was no lubrication. It is used on the oil drain tank. I'm not sure how long the rubber around the oil will last

I used these on Origami R3-01 Steel Universal 3-Self Folding Storage Shelf Small which I purchased through the Revain Woot! subsidiary. I wanted casters that are softer on my hardwood floor. It does the job well. The only thing I can add is that it's a little tricky to tighten the threads, but I've found that a second wrench holding the nut that sits between the wheel and the stem in the reel does the job makes feasible.
