This thing is SCARY fuggin sharp.

You have to be VERY careful when putting this knife back into it's folded position. It has cut me (very minor) a few times when folding it back in. Razor's have nothing on this knife. Just yesterday I cut kevlar with mine. Granted I had to saw it, but at this price point?HooooooLeeeeeeeeFawwwwwk

Pros
  • STEINBRÜCKE provides maximum customer satisfaction and all STEINBRÜCKE knives are backed by a 3 years warranty. If any problems, please contact for replacement.
Cons
  • Blade lock may be difficult to engage or disengage

This is a really high quality, German pocket knife. I do like anything stainless steel coming out of German because the craftsmanship and attention to detail is generally top notch. I’ve seen lots of junker knives, mostly at flea markets and it’s easy to tell this is a decent knife. I didn’t try to reverse the pocket clip as I was satisfied with the placement. The option is a good one, one I haven’t seen in a knife before. It has a drop-point blade can the sharpened with a whetstone if you want…

Pros
  • Very solid. Heft without being bulky. Great value!
Cons
  • Only available in one color option

Solidly constructed folding belt knife

This is a solidly constructed folding belt knife. The blade is hard stainless steel that will keep its edge; as received the blade wasn't super-sharp (thumbnail drag test) but it quickly touched up with a whetstone and a leather strop. Part of the blade is serrated for sawing through fibrous vegetation or through seatbelt fabric, and the knife body includes a diamond-tipped glass scratcher/breaker. The knife handle has an aluminum body with G10 epoxy composite inserts for a sure grip, and…

Pros
  • Snaps open smoothly and locks quietly. Blade is very sharp!
Cons
  • Glass breaker may not be necessary in all outdoor situations

Awesome pocket knife

A bit large, but this blade puts in work. It's sharp, quick to open, easy to put back in and has a nice grip with a great weight to it.Nice serrated blade that can put in work. It's easy to flip and close, it's a little stiffer than some knives I've seen and tested. But with frequent use it opens up and becomes quite slick. I have another blade from them that pops up super quick, this one takes a bit more effort but works just as well.Definitely recommended, not a toy, solid kit

Pros
  • Manual
Cons
  • Limited information available about the manufacturer

Great knife for camping or every day carry.

I wound up giving my EDC pocket knife to my nephew, so I needed a new one. The blade opens smoothly with one hand and locks in place securely. There is a serrated section on the blade for sawing tough rope if needed. As a left-handed person I appreciate the reversible clip. I haven't needed the glass breaking feature, but it is nice knowing it is there. Overall, this is a nice looking, functional, knife, that appears well made to last for years. I couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Well worth the money
Cons
  • Heavy for an EDC knife at 4.7 ounces

Quality Knife- Makes a Great Gift

As a first responder I always carry a knife both at work and off duty because it is an invaluable tool in many emergency situations. This Steinbrucke EDC is a nice knife that feels like it is solid quality. The knife has a little bit of weight to it, which to me means it is sturdy and will last. The window punch on the end makes it doubly useful. It is easy to open and locks open for safety although you do need to work with it a few times by opening and closing it to get it to open quickly and…

Pros
  • 3.4 Inches
Cons
  • Blade may be prone to rust if not properly maintained

Knife's product page has about half a dozen claims that are to bolster the quality or capabilities but I have no idea what they mean and if they are real. That being said, when the knife is in my hand it just feels great and had done an excellent job on any task. When I first received it I would have given it a two star since it lists as spring assist but out of the box it would not open with enough force to lock and I found myself having to do a flick to get it to lock. After taking a look at…

Pros
  • The weight and size are perfect. The blade is safe and compact yet sharp and effective.
Cons
  • almost impossible to open, does not work as it should.

Good quality knife.

I like the design of this knife for EDC. It has a clip for belt or pocket, one hand opening, non slip handle, good finger molds, and a glass cutter/breaker at the end of the handle. The blade has a serrated section, good for seat belts in an emergency. The blade was not wicked sharp, but it wasn't bad for an out of the box knife. I touched it up a bit and now it is really sharp. The inserts in the aluminum handle scales really help the grip. Nice knife overall.

Pros
  • 5.6 ounces
Cons
  • May not be legal to carry in some areas due to blade length or style

Not just for men. Great pocket knife.

A great knife for hiking. You never know when you'll need a knife when you're out in nature, so don't go out without one. This blade is weighted very nicely. Steinbrucke EDC Knife Pocket Knife is a solid, sharp blade. It opens quickly and easy to close.I'm not sure why it says "for men" since a knife is a knife, women would like this knife too. I like that it's pretty non-descript. I'm really happy with the knife.

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other EDC knives on the market

The Steel is Super Quality!

This is a great steel and a super value on a knife. In fact, it's one of the top knife deals I've ever found online. The quality and performance of this steel are in the same range level as Bear River, Benchmade (high end), S30V, Elmax, S35VN, and M390. It's at the top of the competitive steel market, and a top steal of a bargain as well! I highly recommend this. Get one, or more, before the prices goes way I up--I bet it will soon. Excellent knife!

Pros
  • G10 Embedded Aluminum Handle, G10 embedded for high friction grip and durability.
Cons
  • May not be as versatile as other EDC knives on the market

Buy at your discretion.

I really liked the design and look of the knife. But there is a issue with the blade itself. The tip of blade seemed to be machined improperly, making it look like there is a chunk of steel sticking out. And the coating is uneven near the edge.I asked for it to be replaced. But the 2nd one was even more disappointing. It had the same issue with the small chunk of steel sticking out. And the locking part gets jammed or doesn't sit properly under the blade. It's sitting just a little bit, enough…

Pros
  • Not bad at all for the money and my husband loved it and would suggest it s a good buy
Cons
  • Gave as a gift on Christmas....was broken by New Year!

Great knife, smooth action, nice one hand operation.

Unlike another Steinbrucke folding knife I recently reviewed, this one arrived with great action right out of the box. Without having to make any adjustments, the spring assisted blade deployment is quick, snappy, and fully locks the blade in place every time I open it.To those unfamiliar with the brand, don't be fooled by the name - Steinbrucke is a Chinese brand, selling mostly "knock off" designs from well known and established brands. This particular knife, comes with a 3.4" Sandvik 14C28N…

Pros
  • Camping & Hiking
Cons
  • May not be suitable for left-handed users

Great value of a knife

Great sturdy knife! Clip is tight and solid, opening mechanism seems consistent, and a beautiful looking finish. Contemplating if I should buy a second one as a backup after owning it for less than 24 hours!

Pros
  • 12.5 centimeters
Cons
  • Handle design may not be ergonomic for all users

Be extremely careful until you break it in

I do like the knife. It feels solid and well built. The blade is definitely sharp. And the little punch tool on the end to break out a window in an emergency is a nice added feature, BUT.The blade did not lock into place when I first opened it. It took some working in to get the blade to lock into place at all, and even still it takes a rapid flip open to engage the blade locking mechanism properly. Gently opening the blade all the way does not engage the lock most of the time. It's possible…

Pros
  • 3.4" Blade;Sandvik 14C28N Blade, one of the Highest Performance Blade Stainless Steel In the world. Real Razor Sharpness. Titanium Coated Blade,Improved Anti-Corrosion
Cons
  • Limited information available about the blade steel or its properties

This isn't my first Steinbrucke knife, and won't be my last. The name is catchy and European, but make no mistake- this is an inexpensive Chinese knife. That being said, it stands out from the crowd of similar ones by having fit, finish and design that commonly requires a much higher cost. The blade is sharp- quite sharp, really when compared to anything else I've seen in this price range. Fit and finish is also better than the vast majority of inexpensive knives. Will this be mistaken for a…

Pros
  • Folding
Cons

Love this knife! in my review

I got this knife to carry daily. It’s awesome! It’s beautiful and also has a glass breaker tip on the end. I do carry it daily in my pocket and have scratched my arm on the glass breaker part, but I still carry it. It’s nice to know that I have it in case I need to defend myself with something other than my S&W.

Pros
  • Reversible
Cons
  • May not be as precise as other knives for tasks such as slicing or chopping

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So well made no break-in required to easily flip open

I think one of the tell-tail signs of a quality made pocket knife is how easily it opens the first 10 flips out of the box. This knife, first flip, opens so smoothly and easily locked in the open position with the safety fully engaged. WONDERFUL! This is going to be one of my every-day-carry knifes for sure (ok so I rotate knifes. sue me)!

Pros
  • Good Sandvik steel but made in China.
Cons
  • knife would not lock open, poor construction

Best spring assisted I’ve found 👍🏼

Very nice knife, sharp out of the box & maybe the best "spring assisted” folding knife I’ve come across. Will have to put this to use this spring & if any issues arise I’ll update but I like the price, the build and overall quality. Recommend 👍🏼

Pros
  • Reversible Clip
Cons
  • Serrated blade may cause damage to clothing or other items when carried
