Quality Knife- Makes a Great Gift

As a first responder I always carry a knife both at work and off duty because it is an invaluable tool in many emergency situations. This Steinbrucke EDC is a nice knife that feels like it is solid quality. The knife has a little bit of weight to it, which to me means it is sturdy and will last. The window punch on the end makes it doubly useful. It is easy to open and locks open for safety although you do need to work with it a few times by opening and closing it to get it to open quickly and smoothly. The 3.4" blade is decently sharp right out of the box. There is a clip on the side to keep it in your pocket- and the clip is reversible for left handed users. Overall, this is a pretty decent quality knife given the price. It would make an excellent gift for anyone (women too!) who needs a knife or an addition to an emergency kit for home or car. I'm happy to recommend! As a side note- I know that a lot of buyers are interested in where products are made, so I added the information I found: While the knife has a German name and design, the one I received was made in China and the seller states that it has manufacturing facilities in Mexico and the Czech Republic as well.

Wow, the perfect every day carry knife in my opinion. I''ve been carrying this nearly everyday for almost 3 months. It came extremely sharp, and is still very sharp. I like the textured pads on both sides, gives a nice grip but still soft. Blade opens very quick. Requires enough pressure to not accidently open it, but not too much to make it uncomfortable.
