Stella Drywall Repair Panel 6X6X1 Review

I was expecting an 8x8" square piece of drywall because that is exactly the size I needed for my project. Instead, I ended up with a piece of drywall cut at an angle that never reached 8 inches. It reaches nearly 8 inches at its widest point, but is just over 7.5 inches throughout. Maybe other people just want to patch the hole, but I was trying to fix a strip of drywall that the previous owners cut. Don't buy this if you want a precisely measured piece of drywall.

This product has everything you can think of to get the job done. I thought I needed a razor blade but didn't think he would actually supply a branded box opener. Comes with plastic sheets so you don't make a mess, comes with a putty knife, comes with a bud, screws, tape, drywall, 2 x 4, drywall tape and honestly I think for $10 he'd supply more of these dyno drivers, that I used. Just perfect and the job was done in about 25 minutes.

I ordered a 24X24 kit because I had a big hole in the roof due to water damage. I like the design and concept of this product, everything fits in one repair kit to avoid multiple trips to the store. This kit was amazing - it contained ALMOST everything you would need to repair drywall. I say "almost" since just 1 piece of drywall wasn't enough to cover all 4 six inch sides and I needed some wall texture spray before painting. the moment I needed it, so make sure you double check before you start your project.
