This is a great STEM toy for kids and adults! This is what you will find when you play with your child. This is fun for almost all age groups. We have used with 4 year olds, 7 year olds and 9 year olds. Everyone creates something of their own and enjoys it. Great indoor fun in bad weather or when you just need something different.

The set appears to be well made and my 4 year old nephew was delighted with his purchase. My only complaint would be that overall it was a lot smaller than I expected. My daughter has a similar set and I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a small jar from the shipping box. But like you said, my nephew loved it and was looking forward to starting building it, so that's really important.

Ordered as new but the packaging (see photo) is clearly not new. The label was torn off leaving a lot of paper. It was sealed with plastic but that could certainly have been added after opening. I hope there are no missing parts. I would have sent it back but my grandson was there when I opened the Revain box and was very excited to play with it. With all the items I've ordered from Revain, this is the first time I've received a used item that's advertised as new, so maybe I was lucky. However,

I bought this set for 4 and 3 year olds. I remembered playing with a similar wooden building set when I was little. The parts fit together and hold up well. Making their own props for other toys stimulates their imagination and also allows them to train their fine motor skills. They also learn to share and participate in building partnerships. We bought this for our 5 year old son. He always builds things and then describes how they work. It was the cheapest gift he got, but it was the only thing he played with besides learning how to drive his remote control car for 10 minutes and then getting back to building.
