⏳ Stens 055-493 Oil Pressure Switch for Kohler 25 099 27-S, in Black Review

Had to replace OEM after 150 hours. The OEM was leaking so this was his replacement. It seems to be doing what it's supposed to. I hope it will last more than 150 hours. It was easy to replace. I did this during an oil change, but I doubt it's necessary.

I have a 17 year old Simplicity Broadmoor with a Kohler Command engine and the oil light came on and stayed on. I changed the oil and filter and it was still on. I followed the testing procedure in the service manual and it tasted disgusting. I installed this device which is very simple and turns off the light as soon as it is turned on. Thank God! Very well packaged and received on time.

Served its purpose, no more oil leakage. This was done with a 25 hp Kohler engine. on my Cub Cadet which was leaking pretty badly. He is about 5 years old and starting to have some maintenance issues. The pressure switch is located just above the oil filter. At first I thought it was leaking around the oil filter until it started leaking heavily. It was easy to tell back then that the switch was the problem, good price and fast shipping.
