great price for sterile applicators but thin wood

This is a great affordable product that allows you to apply or reach areas of the body that shouldn't be exposed to bacteria (e.g. tonsils). Great product except the wood is very weak and tends to snap under excessive pressure.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Safety

NO plastic suitable for cotton buds

Attention! Description and photo do not match. If you look for photos, you will NOT get them. This is for WOODEN applicators

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Some defects

Bait & Switch - Cotton Balls and Tampons

Shown is a Medline tampon, a well known brand product, made in the USA. The product description says "Medline Industries Sterile 6 Cotton Tip Applicator" and there's even a part number. The origin "USA" is indicated in the product description. However, the resulting product was an unnamed Chinese counterfeit of low quality (a thin, fragile stick and immaterial cotton tip). Attention buyers!

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Good for the most part, but...

Pretty Sterile Swabs Individually Wrapped

Cute Sterile Swabs Individually Wrapped. They work fine. I used them on my husband's wound and overall they were pretty good. Although I wish the cotton was thicker. You really aren't that full of advice. In addition, long sticks are attached to it, and the sticks are not very thick and hard. I used it once and squeezed it a little hard and the stick broke immediately. That's why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. They work, but they're certainly not the best.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

Ideal for neuro exams and economical!

Nothing fancy but perfect for the job. I use these applicators for my neurological evaluation of patients in clinical drug trials. Tear off a piece of cotton to test the corneal reflexes, then break it in half and use on dull and sharp sensations on the skin. Then throw it away. Optimal and economical. I think it can also be used as a defensive weapon against particularly hostile and aggressive inmates when visiting a jail or jail (chuckles).

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Great product at a reasonable price

After visiting a local pharmacy I started searching the internet for sterile swabs. Because I needed long-term care and many other opportunities, retail pricing just didn't work for me. These tampons were just what I needed and at a reasonable price. Each pack contains 2 sterile swabs. Each has a sufficient amount of cotton wrapped tightly enough to be used for washing wounds and applying creams or ointments. I will definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Great price

Happy to find her!

My husband had surgery and then got Staphylococcus aureus which had to be cleaned several times a day. I couldn't find these sterile swabs anywhere. Pharmacies have a limited supply of bandages and first aid supplies, but sweets and lawn gnomes. You have a lot lol. These tampons were inexpensive and arrived the next day. Thank you Revane for always buying everything from soup to nuts.

Pros
  • Looking good
Cons
  • For pensioners

I bought them after seeing a doctor use them.

I bought these after seeing them being used in the doctor's office to put antibiotic cream on an abscess wound I had. This allowed them to apply the cream without actually touching the wound. I wanted to do the same at home as not touching would reduce the risk of infection. This is exactly what I was looking for and I will be using this to apply an antibiotic ointment to all wounds, cuts and scrapes that come up around my home to reduce the chance of infection if applied by hand.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
