Excellent Accessory for Climbing

This accessory is an EXCELLENT addition to your climbing gear collection. My analysis of this product showed that it is durable, lightweight, and easy to use, making it perfect for beginners and experienced climbers alike. The ring prusik knots hold fast, offering secure footing while also allowing for quick and easy adjustment. However, it may be a bit pricey for some climbers on a budget. Overall, a great investment for anyone looking to improve their climbing technique..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its sterling silver construction.
Cons
  • May pose a safety hazard if not used properly by inexperienced climbers or mountaineers.

Splice too far from ring

Quality Prusik loop with quality splice. For the price I was happy to get it. The only problem is that the crossing is much further from the ring than shown in the photo. This means I can barely make two turns when trying to form a prusik on my friction sheath to make it adjustable. I have to make an effort to get the connection through a tight loop in the second corner. I usually do three wraps on my Prusik and am not keen on only using two, especially on my TIP. I like having a removable ring

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
