My 2.9 year old has been wearing them for 6 months with no problems. They never loosen up even though I check them every few days and they are very comfortable. We love toddler earrings and will buy more if they ever break. However, I will say that it depends on the pair you receive. I've had a few for myself where the support hasn't dropped after a few weeks. Unfortunately, this is not done consistently.
