it's better than PAS, if only because nylon has some concessions.

Sorry Metolius, this is the best PAS, if only because nylon has some advantages - nobody should subject their PAS to a drop factor greater than 1, but you will get something just in case do stupid. Always plan for a silly mistake, even the best of us make one.

Bomber PAS is best for outdoor activities

Nice personal anchor system. I bought this version as it was one of the longest on the market, only an inch or two. This is a reliable PAS and you will not be disappointed. But next time I might use a different brand. This PAS might be too long, I don't usually use the last link. The strap is also wide. It's not heavy but takes up space on the security loop.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Crumpled

They won't ruin your back too much or break the cord.

Anything can happen and checking for a waste factor of 2 is reassuring and not that cumbersome. If you're cleaning sport anchors and plan on detaching yourself from the chains, you'll need some sort of personal rope. I attach the end to one chain and the other link to the other. If the bolts fail or you fall while boarding, you will not hurt your back badly or break the cable. The same cannot be said for a Dynema PAS chain, a pair of Dynema rippers or even nylon cords.

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good quality and high durability

I made the mistake of buying the all black version. I do not recommend buying PAS in one color. It is better if at least the end is a different color so that when opening the belt you can distinguish between the end and the middle. I like to keep the PAS clean by tying a few loops to the carabiner before attaching it to the harness. This PAS is of excellent quality and more than safe for its intended use. Is a bit bulkier than others. I recommend PAS by Misty Mountain instead. Misty Mountain is

Perfect! - Camping

I have several Sterling ropes and they are all great. It is one of the most respected rope manufacturers. The nylon webbing over the Metolius Dyneema has a higher melting point and imparts some "elasticity" or dynamic ability, although I wouldn't want more than a few inches to fall on it. I like having different adjustment loops and I use two belay loops (one for each bolt) when installing the anchor. I don't see the need for a dual cable with the Pro version and the length is fine for me…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
