Not sure if they are made of precious metal. These earrings are not hallmarked 925 Sterling Silver. When I contacted the seller they insisted it was sterling silver. There are no authenticity marks on these earrings. Earrings are tiny and smaller than expected but cute. You can't see the gem when you wear them, but I was fine with that. However, I needed them in sterling silver because my ears need a hypoallergenic metal.
