I bought them for my daughter. They are much smaller than I imagined. I would say the age range is 4-9. Purple stone is very beautiful. After a month of wearing, it was a bit difficult to fully close the back.

I always buy these "lever" (French wire) earrings from now on because my simple hook earrings get pulled out of my ears by the mask, hair, scarf or hat by adding masks! I often didn't realize until I got home that I'd lost an earring and all I have to do is take one out of my ears: it's very disappointing! Gems with silver are just beautiful - thank you!

I was browsing Amazon looking for earrings when I saw this opal and realized I bought it over a year ago. I wear them every day and I love the way they look. I bought two pairs of these earrings; one in ruby and the other in clear zirconia Swarovski. The "ruby" earrings were not dark red as in the photo, they were purple rather than red. Neither pair of earrings shines particularly in the bright sun. I wanted simple drop earrings with a lever clasp. From this point of view, the earrings are great.
