The story line was to predictable but was enjoyable as a beach book. No need to continue series, since template will be the same

Author knows police procedure. A good story. My only negative was the occasional use of God's name as an exclamation, but if you're not a Christian it probably won't bother you.

The book is easy to read with characters you can almost see. There are plot twists that keep you guessing and a believable ending that wraps up the story. I'm very much looking forward to the next book!

I really enjoyed the twist and turns of the plot. It was a very interesting approach to have the lead character make mistakes like we all do and yet solve the mystery.

It's a rare storyline that stays within the bounds of proper police procedue and departmental boundaries without elitist abuses by the hero characters. I'm not sure what to say. This book was fabulous and I couldn't put it down! It totally had a mix of everything. It was intriguing, lots of twists and turns, but all for a good reason. The beginning of the book was written well enough, it just didnt suck me in. Unfortunately I didnt make it past Chapter 8. I just couldn't get excited about reading it.
