Great little gadget!

For years I used masking tape to hold components in place while soldering on the opposite side of the PCB. This little device makes the job faster, easier and more reliable!

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Very handy for the vise

Very handy for thru hole PCB work with stickvise. I can just hold the parts underneath without fumbling with my legs and watching small parts fall out when I try to solder them. Reasonable price. highlighted.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Ideal for vacuum, strong and durable

PartLift was ideal for vacuum applications in a design that required me to hand solder thru hole terminal blocks and crimp pins. Most of my designs are specifically designed for surface mounting to avoid this step and I use them with StickVice with high temperature guides during reflow. I saw this and it paid off immediately on assembly at work where I usually had to make a custom jig instead. Glad to have it for future rework as well.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
