The instructions show you how to insert the cable coming out of the wall into the Romex and attach the heater to the wall. After connecting the stove, the stove must be lifted and placed back into the mounting frame and the Romex pushed back into the wall. This leaves about 3/4 inch of Romex material between the wall and the heater back box. The gap between "in the wall" and "in the heating" is amazing. This is a good long lasting heater.

Start the Romex, cut a hole for the new box, add a 220v switch, and it all only took about an hour. Maybe it took another 30 minutes to hang the heater on the wall. Update: They've been installed for 2 years now and still work well, produce heat and are quiet. They are hot to the touch so I would be concerned about young children. I also plan to hang a sign above each of them to warn people against hanging things on heaters or stacking clothes next to each other. I mentioned that they also look very nice.
