ITS AWESOME! but complicated!

It's a really awesome net and allows for fair use, i bought a table tennis conversion top for my pool table and also got this for the net, it work's great! At first it's a pin to configure but if you just keep it setup and use it often it'll work great.

Nice product but needs refinement

The side posts need to be handled with the utmost care because they will break! I play ping pong with about 13 people and after installing the net, it broke after THREE DAYS OF USE. Not good. But the simplistic design with clamps is nice. Handle with care and you won't need 8000 glue to fix it. Manufacturers, if you are reading this, please find a way to ensure the end posts and the plastic cap won't break. It can be done. There is another Stiga net in use which hasnt broken in six months.

A solid replacement for our aging table tennis table

Easy assembly and adjustment. The pins to hold the vertical posts could be made more secure, but we tend to take our table apart often and it's done by numerous people so the level of care when disassembling might leave something to be desired.

Great net! on my review.

Adjustable, sturdy and straight.It's wide enough to fill in the gap between my two sides of the ping pong table and it performs well. The 1st one I received had posts that were slightly bent so that the posts could not "lock" into place, but Revain was excellent in providing a replacement and the second was perfect.

Well, just like others, the net and net holders that came on my tournament quality ping pong table lasted 1 day. After 1 day (Christmas), the thread on the bar became warped and you could no longer tighten it to the table.Got this one. It is by far the best quality I have ever seen. Takes about 2 minutes to set up. I was suspicious of the clips not being strong enough but they are really great!My table is very low quality and only about 3/4 inch thick but the clips hang on very well and I was able to get the net nice and tight across the table. Good Clamp Net.but - my new review

Have Joola tables with screw-on nets. Wanted to "upgrade" to spring clamp. Tables are regulation size, as printed on the Stiga box, but these are stretched TIGHT. Maybe they'll relax a lot over time but first install I thought I'd rip the net forcing it to fit.Also hard to secure ends with only one person.yes, this is in a school setting and I am setting up by myself. You need a person on both sides to hook the net tension string/chain assembly.

Not to difficult to set up if you watch the video, great value and quality

Relatively easy to set up. It took me a few minutes to adjust the tension because I was by myself and couldn't pull both the strings at once. This net is much better quality than some of the nets on professional expensive tables. It's also great because it's versitile and can be used on just about anyones table. The clamps give a nice strong grip on the table as well. Overall it feels like quite a durable net and is worth the 20 bucks. Which is not much at all for a net of this quality.

Pretty solid for the price.

The net that came with my table was awful so I bought this. I didn't want to spend very much, so I was fine with getting a middle of the road net. The quality is just fine for the price and my favorite thing about it is that you can pull on the net string and tie it to get it as tight as you want it. Superb for home use and probably more

Easy setup and it stays put. That is, until you want it down and then it is an easy takedown. I kept the original cheapo net system that came with the table about a week just in case this didn't work. It does, the other net is gone, and we couldn't be more pleased. This is in our home with light to moderate use. Preteen and teen kids and their friends and it hasn't budged an inch. We are so happy we bought it and I think you would like this too.

A quality net. good for me

This is a really good net and so much better than the one that came with our table. The clamps are heavy duty metal and very securely grip the table. You can tighten the string that runs across the top of the net so it does not wobble. Overall it seems to be a good quality net and it looks good as well.

Great for the price . easy once you understand it.

Really nice piece of equipement. The initial set-up could use better direction but I figured it out in about 10 minutes. You need to pull the pin out of the vertical post and then fit the net sleeve over the pin and then slide the pin and net back into the post managing to get the net to sit in the slot in the post. I would recommend.

This net is pretty much as advertised

This net is pretty much as advertised, but didn't come with instructions, so I suspect I received a return model. I could be wrong, but the box wasn't sealed. However, I was able to find an installation video online Youtube that was quite helpful.

As others have faced, I had two problems. Net was not as advertised at 72 inches, and there were parts missing. Double whamo! Works just as described.

This is easy to setup/install, and has been working well. One tip is that make sure the net is completely inserted into it's holder. If you cannot get the black rubber tip to stay in when you insert it into the clamp, go back to the start until you get the net inserted completely.

Almost impossible to set on posts (net too short)

I read the 1 star reviews after noticing something was wrong, and I confirmed my suspicions: the net is indeed shorter than it should. I am able to see this given that in the most loose position, which is, no tension manually added, the net is almost ripping appart. Great value, and a time-saver!

This net makes my life just a little bit easier. We move my ping pong table a lot since it's in a bonus room where we also exercise, play video games, watch movies, etc. With this net, I just squeeze the trigger and slide it over so I can fold up my table.
