Extremely disappointed with this pedal

Based on our own experience, this pedal doesn't meet our expectations. The design is not sturdy enough and caused an unpleasant noise while driving. The only good thing we can say is that the pedal is affordable. However, we wouldn't recommend this product to anybody looking for a high-quality automotive pedal.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Difficulty adjusting to personal preference

I am very disappointed as here is a photo.

I'm very disappointed as there is a picture here that clearly shows the VW logo on the pedal cover but when they arrive they just have a kind of bullseye in the middle. Also, there are 2 in the package and I thought I'd buy 1.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Pretty good

Contrary to previous posts, this is now a pad, not a pair.

Previous reviews said they were a pair but when mine arrived there was only one. Revain also sells Dorman pads. The website says they're not compatible with the 1972 Beetle, but they fit perfectly and are $5 less. The pads appear to be identical to the VW pads in every respect. It fits my pedal snugly, but if it's a little loose on yours, add some caulk to the backing and the treason and let both dry. When you put the pad on the pedal, it sticks without slipping. You can also use contact…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Repair
