Ideal for sharpening large colored pencils. However, it is impossible to separate a wooden sharpener from a cardboard sleeve. I'm strong so I know it's not a problem. It seems that it's glued because it doesn't lend itself at all. We've had this for several months now and I was hoping that our efforts would loosen it up over time, but it still hasn't budged.
