It's practical. I keep one in the glove box of every car in case I ever have to stop on the freeway with a flat tire or other problem. I think the driver can just roll down the window and slam the flashing light onto the roof of the car without opening the door and risking being hit by a passing car. Small, compact and durable. do not light up when stored in the trunk of your car. It's a minor thing, but when you need it and the batteries are dead from being turned on in transit, it's a little disappointing. Overall very light, very bright and has a magnet in the base to attach to bodywork if steel. The carry case is basic but great for keeping the kit together.
