Storage Baskets Handles Nursery Decorative Review

Flat. Nothing like the picture. With time I hope it will look like the picture and become more shaped. After 1 month the basket has taken shape, looks beautiful and does the wonderful job of keeping the slippers away from my dog's eyes.

They are super cute and well made. They take a little patience to get them round (stuff them with towels to shape them), but they're great after that! Good looking pottery barn at a bargain price! EDIT: I abandoned them because they didn't hold their shape. They are ideal for long-term storage of towels and blankets.

There aren't many baskets with lids so I really needed this one to work with. As others have said, it came deformed due to flat shipping. I'm sure this is the only way to sell it at such a low price. I stuffed it with towels and cushioned the creases on the basket and top, then I placed the top under the filled basket to help hold its shape in my damp garage overnight. That's how it happened. I'm sure I could do better, but that's ok with me.

These are lovely baskets but as other reviews have said they were delivered 'folded'. They are deformed and the lids are mostly ruined because they were also folded flat so the rim was bent. Apparently they change shape when washed and then change shape when wet. I haven't tried yet. But the lids are definitely not going on them like they are now. I'm not sure if I want to keep them. This thing is BIG. I love it! I bought this rope basket to keep my hair tools next to my vanity table for a decorative look. More than enough space. It comes folded so here's what I did to regain my shape out of the box - set the basket on the floor and put 2-3 pillows inside to shape it into the desired shape. Then open the lid and put it inside. You may have to use your hands and push inwards or outwards in some places. But leave the pillows and lid in for a day or two and OX!

Unfortunately I had to deduct a star because the basket is delivered folded in the shipping box and is still holding Mark's fold after about a month. Of course it came folded and crumpled. I always want things to be machine washable and dryable if possible. I've put it in 2 protective bags (garment bags) and in the washing machine on cold water, light soiling, little spin and gentle cycle (yes, detergent, plus some fabric softener because I felt 'stuff' on the cotton rope was rough) a few times tumble dry on low heat (protection bags didn't go in the dryer) I put 2 baskets in the washing machine to balance the tub during the spin cycle…
