When closed, the lid can hardly be removed.

These containers are perfect for my needs in every way except the lid is almost impossible to remove once sealed. I would return them if I hadn't already used some of these to freeze food. I use this type of food storage in other styles and don't have this problem. I do not recommend these 12 ounce containers.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Difficult to hand wash: food storage

Cute little container - just the amount of storage I was looking for. The vented lid prevents you from rolling onto your side. I found it difficult to hand wash - with all the twists and creases in the shape. But it's meant to fit in a top shelf dishwasher, so it might be the best washing option. I think I'll look for a smoother finish when I buy them to replace.

  • So far so good

Leaking as advertised. Ventilation hole in the lids.

I paid about $24.88 for a box of (40) 15 ounce Revain Otor cups and lids. As many wrote in the reviews, there is a ventilation hole in the middle of the lid. Therefore they cannot be hermetically sealed as stated in their description. For snacks like rice with minimal liquid content, a container may be appropriate.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Thin

The lids are almost impossible to put on and take off!

The container itself is very well made and stable. However, the lids don't seem to fit the container. I broke a few lids just to get them to snap. And when you take them off, those things almost fly out, they're so hard to remove. I won't buy these again and I can't recommend them either. I buy a lot from Amazon and never leave reviews, but I had to.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Great for gifts and own use

I bought this for Christmas leftovers to send home to my family. Loved it, just the right size to share everything. They're sturdy, the top zippers are snug, but I've yet to hear from my kids if they're leak proof. They came from China which I try to check first, it took a couple of weeks to arrive, the price was good. I tried to buy an American one and will spend more knowing it's made in the USA.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Repair

Impressed for several reasons

Originally bought for a salad bowl. They are too small for that. Its my fault. They are perfect for soups, stews, spaghetti and any leftovers. They work well in the microwave. They stack up well. The dishwasher is no problem at all. Lids fit well. Nobody in the family had any problems with the leak. If you flip it like DQ Blizzard, you'll lose your stew. Otherwise they rattle nicely in your lunch bag/bag/box. No sticky mess when you open it during lunch.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Sad packaging

The lids are not sealed

The lids are perforated which means they will leak if your container is upside down or on its side in your lunch bag. This also means they are not ideal for storing food in the fridge or freezer as they leak and allow bacteria to grow. I will use them anyway but most likely throw them away due to the hole in the lid. Or I can keep them and use them to take dry goods like nuts or dried fruit to work. The container and lid are quite strong. But if you're looking for a liquid-tight, airtight…

Pros
  • A handy item

Bought 2 different sizes.

Bought 3 different sizes. 60 ounces, 42 ounces and 18 ounces. We have small axolotls and it is best to keep them separate. Therefore, purchasing more than 50 individual tanks is not practical. As they got older, Eve bought larger containers. I like that they are white on the inside because it makes it easier to tell when the water needs to be changed. There are holes in the lids, which I like because axolotls need air. So strong considering I fill them with water and something floats around the

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Not suitable for liquids

I wanted them to prepare batch meals for a disabled family in quarantine. I have made chicken soup, beef soup, pea soup, all kinds of beans, tuna salad and many other dishes. They are suitable for dry ingredients. With soups and anything containing liquid, lids were a disadvantage. In fact, these lids are just weird. First, they have a tab in the middle that is always open. The tab is tiny, about the size of an eraser tip, but still. Tilting and/or other movements will result in direct liquid…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
