Not suitable for liquids

I wanted them to prepare batch meals for a disabled family in quarantine. I have made chicken soup, beef soup, pea soup, all kinds of beans, tuna salad and many other dishes. They are suitable for dry ingredients. With soups and anything containing liquid, lids were a disadvantage. In fact, these lids are just weird. First, they have a tab in the middle that is always open. The tab is tiny, about the size of an eraser tip, but still. Tilting and/or other movements will result in direct liquid leakage. Caps are also a monster to get. But if it wasn't for the open little tongue it would be great for liquids. The shells are just a little weak. not that durable. To put the lids on, you need to press down firmly on the lid or run your fingers along the edges and squeeze the lid onto the bowl (which is a lot easier said than done). In any case, the shells either warp or you have to be very careful (which takes a lot of time). While I like the portion size in the bowl, I didn't realize how careful you have to be when removing it from the microwave once the soup is heated. The bowl will bend or almost collapse, creating a real spill hazard. Definitely not something you want to put your kids through. Too many problems. If you're making salads without dressing or other wet ingredients, it's not that bad, aside from the tedious work of putting the bowl lids on and off. It's labor intensive.
