They are not as strong as "normal" bags. They bend easily, but not "weakly". I kept them but am still looking for something better. . The lids do not snap, they are held in place by gravity. They fall easily from a good shot or from too much of a tilt.

I like that they are bright! I used them outside to keep track of the bulbs when I planted them this fall. I have also used them when repotting some of my smaller to medium sized orchids. They're the perfect size for uprooting old bark and removing dead roots, then simply scrape off the old mix to get rid of it. And they are easy to clean.

So. They advertise "Assorted colors, 5 pack" and "Bright colors are perfect for STEAM or STEM color coding". I was given purple, blue, yellow, red and WHITE. It should be green like the picture, not white! WHITE IS NOT A COLOR! It's colorless! I needed this for my class, thanks for wasting my time, now I have to go back. Good job Storex, you've lost a customer forever. I'll buy a more expensive brand but at least I know I'm getting the right colors.

The product is as it appears but as they say different colours: These are not the 5 colors you see. I have white instead of green. It actually doesn't look as good as the set - too much contrast between the three dark/deep colors and the two light colors. Therefore only 4 stars; I think they could clarify that different colors mean not only 5 different (different) colors that you see in the picture, but also different colors. Of the 5 storage bins, 3 were in good condition but 2 were cracked at the bottom of the box, one was particularly bad. See photos. The first 3 photos are of a virtually unusable container, badly broken and cracked top and bottom left. Fragments are visible in the 4th photo, and in the 5th the upper left crack of another container, which will break over time. Individually these baskets are good. Solid, well made and serves its purpose. Avklarer basket with no lid size for collecting papers. I bought these baskets to add to my already existing collection of Storex baskets of the same size but different colors. My colored baskets had transparent lids. If you're buying these with (supposedly) matching Storex lids, be careful. They may not fit. I bought letter size clear storage bowls and also ordered a set of lids (for some reason you have to order the lids separately when ordering clear bowls). Lids are approximately 1/4 inch smaller in length and width. No matter how hard you try, they won't fit the trays.
