They are definitely light, but not suitable for children's feet. Her fingers stick out at her sides and they just sit oddly, a little bulky for little feet. I even adjusted all the straps and they still feel bulky.

Bought these shoes for my grandson. Needed something light and away from the pool and in our backyard. They are adjustable so they can be easily tightened when needed. He hasn't tripped yet so I'd say that's a positive :) He's 3 years old so he needs help getting dressed but he can get out of them whenever he wants.

I like that it can be adjusted in three places - on the toes, in front of and behind the ankles. My daughter puts them on and off easily. They dry easily when wet. The only downside is that the fabric holding the velcro will wear out. I hope it doesn't fall apart.
