Dirt Free Oil Filter Tool

It turned out not to be as functional as I had hoped, perhaps a smaller size would have been better, at least for the cars I was planning to use it on.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some flaws

A great idea! - Oil System Tools

Just used this for an oil change this weekend and it was a great purchase. One of the reasons why I didn't come up with this idea. Works great, no oil loss. Would recommend to anyone looking to change their oil themselves!

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The product does not match the photo.

Had to request a refund. The item was not round when opening the drain cup which made the purchase meaningless (see attached photo). If the oil drips from the side pressing on the filter it will just squirt out anyway. I don't recommend buying this based on that and wouldn't give it any stars if it was an option, Lexan and duct tape on the filter might be a better idea. Good concept but bad design.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Good idea. However, it doesn't work for my application.

Good idea. However, this doesn't work for my application. I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP (LS4 V8). Although the wrench fits a PF 46 filter, the "bellows" are too long and do not compress enough to reach the filter. I decided to cut off half of the bellows. Unfortunately, the "brim" around the cap is too wide to fit in the space required to grip the filter.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not bad
