Disappointing results from this paper

After I put it to the test, I found that the paper was too thin and started to buckle when I used even light washes of watercolor. It also had a strange, almost rubbery texture that didn't feel nice to draw on.

Pros
  • None.
Cons
  • Buckles easily, strange texture.

Perfect thickness, great price

I found these tiles here at Revain at a great price. I cut my art paper to various sizes - usually 4x4 or 5x5 - and these tiles not only save time, they're nice and thick too. This Strathmore 300 series is perfect for what I do (brush calligraphy projects or small painting projects so I think it would be perfect for zentanglers too). One side is a little smoother than the other, so if you need some texture, it's there. I will definitely buy them again when my current pack is gone.

Pros
  • Create beautiful little works of art with this art tile
Cons
  • Available in white only

The first step is paper

Like many people, I love to draw in meditation and have tried different types of paper. In most cases I had to crop it to the right size. I bought my first pack of this paper and had to order more. I like it when my pen glides over the paper because the lower resistance of the pen allows me to work better with lines. I love the fact that I don't have to take the time to stop and cut paper before I can start drawing. The small tiles mean I can put them in my purse so I can paint anytime I'm…

Pros
  • Sold in packs of 20
Cons
  • Can't remember
