It's a smooth paper

Overall I'm happy with it but as mentioned above it's smooth with no texture. out - (cannot darken the value). I think this paper is best for pencil work.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Modern

Art supplies have been really strong lately

Art supplies have been really strong lately and Strathmore art paper is falling in line with other underperforming manufacturers. For the most part, the paper itself is good. accepts pen, ink and marker well, but the problem comes in the form of damaged pads. I can tell you that I ordered a couple of these pads because I use them for my work and I would say that seven out of ten pads are damaged. Either the corner is bent or there is a dent running through the entire upholstery from start to…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Not the best of surprises

It's thinner than I thought and not very durable. I was shocked that by cutting the first leaf with a knife - I was very gentle - it actually cut the second leaf! Omg. I almost swear to death because first of all it's $20 and only 24 sheets. But I love the smoothness, although it was very difficult to erase pencil marks - it doesn't usually happen to me, and my erasers are very good, they always erase without marks, so I was shocked.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Power to tear off sheets does not work

I got the size 18x24. The problem is that the paper punch feature doesn't work. I can't tear off the sheets without tearing the paper. The problem is that the perforations aren't deep enough or strong enough. The process barely touched the paper and is not deep or substantial enough to be effective. I was given paper for an art class in college and I can't imagine torn paper. I wanted the perforation to work better than my batch of product.

Pros
  • drawing paper
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not bad not bad

I expected this paper to be very thick but instead it seems only slightly taller than the art paper. In my opinion it's too soft because my multiliner and pen will dent if I don't press lightly. At the same time, it feels much better compared to drawing paper. However, I would never recommend it for final drawings due to its softness and flexibility (although it's better than sketch paper). The fact that it spirals and there are places on the sides to tear them off makes it very handy and seems
