Discreet cable ties in cable holder

They're pretty good for the price. I've had B&G cable ties for years and have run out. I thought they were worth it for the price. They're not as strong as my old ones, but they're good for what I use them for. No need to strangle wires! I can tear them apart by hand, which wasn't possible with B&G ties.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Fragile

Do not leave in the sun

Good quality zip ties for the price, VERY VERY POOR UV resistance, I left them in my truck for about a week, apparently the sun was shining on part of the bag because After the first week all the zippers in a certain part of the pack became ridiculously cracked and I broke probably 50 of them. I started leaving them inside and haven't had any lasting problems.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No instructions

Thinner and smaller than standard Home Depot 8 inch cable ties

Just a warning to everyone, they are twice as thin as those you can get at Home Depot's electronics department. Much thinner means less durable. It's hard to understand what a 40kg weight is in cable ties as none of us are cable tie experts. But they're a lot thinner and smaller than the standard 8-inch cable ties you can get at Home Depot for the same price.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • No

The size is different from other ties. Very weak and thin.

I ordered 1000 11" cable ties which arrived and were perfect. I also ordered these 8" zip ties, they are thinner and won't fit 11" zip ties when I need to make them longer. Why other sizes? Now I want to return them but Revain sent them via UPS. In Puerto Rico there is only one UPS store and it is an hour away at the airport. To ship them back via USPS, I have to pay for shipping myself, which costs about the same as the ties, and there's no guarantee I'll ever get a refund! I'm not happy with…

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Update available

Not What You Expected - Accessories & Supplies

We use a lot of zippers. I mean 1-2 sachets a month. So I was happy to see them at a lower price point than Home Depot. When the shipment arrived I knew it had to be sent back. The ties are thin and narrower than even the ones I've bought from Revain which have 40lb tinsel. No way could they hold anything like lattice walls or pillars; maybe for gardening. Now this is confusing for me because my search keeps turning up messages about the last time I bought this.

Pros
  • High Quality Nylon 66
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Probably looking at the comments As they said. It's not a home depot or zip tie. They are about half the width thinner. a little more work for my projects. If you're looking for stability or durability, this might not be it. If you are looking for something different that is good enough but cheaper than the stores mentioned. Then it will fit. It just depends on what you need it for.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Knitter

Multiple uses with the universal zip tie

These zip ties are a bit thinner than what I used but they work great and I use them for a few jobs. In the first photo - AquaPex pipe insulation in a chilled water system in the basement - I used cable ties to secure the pipe insulation from the engine room to the basement. The second photo shows a hot water heating system insulated with 1/2 inch thick foam to keep heat en route to each zone. The third shows a fence around the lily pad to keep Mr. Bunny from eating my lilies.

Pros
  • Zip ties
Cons
  • older model
