Not bad for the money

I used this product to treat a new sofa and chair to protect them from my little dog boy who is "lifting his legs". I took the whole bottle to the bottom of the furniture. The atomizer that comes with the body shoots a "stream" that doesn't provide good coverage. Instead I used a "fine spray bottle" and it worked great, didn't expire or get waterlogged. It took a night to dry and so far the moisture seems to have evaporated.

An open bottle came out.

I read good reviews so I ordered it. until I know how it will be. because I'm a little worried about using it at all? Even though the bottle was in a plastic bag, it got completely wet and spilled inside. upon further examination. I noticed there was no seal on the bottle itself? I find that very strange these days? Somehow re-uploaded? I am now not entirely sure what I received, is this a genuine item? Should I spray it on mine? take risk? Pooh.

Wonderful. for upholstery cleaner

I prefer a spray bottle to a compressed can because it's easier to get an even pattern and control the amount of product applied. This product repels liquids and occasional food particles very well. Didn't change the color of the fabric and didn't make it stiff and uncomfortable. It dries fairly quickly, although the instructions say it dries in 24 hours. I sprayed it on in the early evening and let it dry overnight. Will definitely buy again if needed as seems to be a lot better than the other

Great Product: Household Items

We lost our caravan in the 2018 campfire. We ordered a replacement tag with more luxurious but delicate microfiber padding. A good friend recommended Soft Clad. I found the product easy to apply, dries quickly and is almost invisible. Having the protector on the padding gives me a sense of relief and has worked great so far. We have now applied Soft Clad to the inside of our truck and plan to use it on other items around the house. As a neat freak, this is a great product.

Active ingredient is a form of PFAS - TOXIC if/when broken down.

I just found out that PFAS, a really dangerous chemical, is the main ingredient in the fabric protectants we've been using for a long time. Softclad is simply "fluorinated polymer" and water. Fluorinated polymer is the trade name for PFAS polymer. An internet search will tell you that as the polymer degrades, it breaks down into a form of PFAS that has been shown to be highly toxic. I'm glad I haven't bothered to use my bottle of Softclad on my couch yet. I am very frustrated that the return…
