XL double bed frames are not very common so I was happy to find this one. I am very happy with it and would definitely order again. Strong, strong, does not creak at all.

At a long term care facility we realized we needed a bed that could support a heavy man. The frame is great for that. The only issue we had with the frame is that there is no ledge on the frame to hold the mattress on the frame. It was too slippery. We solved the problem with Velcro, which with enough friction helps keep the mattress on the frame.

My only star because I did not receive the actual product as described in the purchase claims is a steel frame and cross members, when I got home my wife fitted wooden cross members and mentioned this one was a surprise to me as i only made this purchase because it was steel, very upset i would be sending it back but the old box spring was already disposed of and didn't want to pack everything up and send it back. Everything went great, took about an hour and a half to assemble the main frame. The top right front of the frame had batten holders, they were welded upside down and they couldn't be repaired or repaired so i'm now forced to return this item and buy another frame from another manufacturer.shipping was on time and it seems reliable not together either.hope the return process is the same..sorry , considering the reasonable price I thought I got for it.

This bed frame was very easy to install. In fact, I spent more time disassembling the old bed than reassembling this frame. I managed to assemble the bed frame by myself without outside help. The instructions were a little vague in places but I managed to figure it out. It probably took me about an hour to assemble it myself using the tools provided. Be sure to look under the bottom bolt set for a wrench.
