I got this one because it was the size I needed and I thought it was good value for money. This may be true if you just want to practice on something, but the canvases I received were a little loose and easily torn. There was a hole in one - but I don't know if I did it or it just happened. I have no experience with sling piercing, so even if I were, I blame the cheapness of the sling. Good for practice, bad for the finished art.

EXCELLENT canvases. That's why. I paint canvases to make signs for a living, I used to buy them from Michael's craft store - the quality got horrible - absolutely horrible - I had to sand them down and that was if I could even use them if they weren't were too saggy. ! I should preface my review by saying I bought them for the sole purpose of using them for "reverse canvas" projects to take apart. If you use them in the usual way I'm sure they'll be fine!
