I don't think this brand is the best for easy opening and disassembly of bricks. Unfortunately, these base plates are no exception. It's hard to get the bricks to snap and stay on these slabs. Not only is it difficult to hold a single brick, but any structure made up of more than a few bricks will practically slide off, remaining connected only at the base. I received these baseplates to display my CMF collection (I copy the idea of a popular Lego Youtuber Jangbricks) and these baseplates are a great purchase. They come in a variety of colors (even clear), are as strong as regular Lego sheets and have great adhesion. They are much better than I thought! I used them to build a lego table for my kids for Christmas and they really are a very powerful feel. It was a little trickier to trim them to get the right size. I think they hold up very well! The colors are really bright and cheerful. Lego's brands of famous and unknown are a perfect match, and ripping them off these baseplates isn't scary. With this set you get 12 colorful sheets (one transparent) that are fully compatible with Lego branded blocks as well as other brick blocks. Wow. Didn't expect this quality for this price. The real LEGO 16x1 piece (shown) fits onto this plate just like the real LEGO plates. The plastic is higher quality than the mega blocks and feels like LEGO stuff (clean, smooth finish but not sharp and slick. Also has the same balance of rigidity and flexibility).
