Worn twice, brown leather/suede peeled off!

I loved these shoes, they were cute but they definitely won't last long. Literally after 2 socks, the fingers on the sneakers come off.

Pros
  • Leather upper that's easy to clean and stays like new for longer
Cons
  • Causes blisters

Socks come loose the first time you wear them

When I put them on for the first time, a thin layer of faux leather peeled off the toes of both shoes. They should be worn at the wedding. I think I'll go shopping

Pros
  • My son looked adorable wearing them with his Christmas outfit.
Cons
  • Slightly scratched

DO NOT BUY!: my rating

First, the seller on the site has shoes in width, which is deceptive. After a few days, the shoes wear out. I want my money back.

Pros
  • Lightweight slip-on design for comfort
Cons
  • Limited color options

Nice shoes but scratch easily

For the price of these sneakers they don't last very well. My 3 year old only wears them to church and dinner most of the time and they are so shabby. For nearly $40, they can't take it. Although they are cute and fit well. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • We love Stride Rite shoes and they're even washable!
Cons
  • Absolutely bad quality. The finger ripped a few hours after my son put them on. Unbelievable.

A bit big in my rating

Although slightly larger than expected (I accidentally chose the wide width), these shoes are durable and have a nice color. I would take them again (I'm the right size).

Pros
  • It was convenient for my child and his running around!!
Cons
  • Untenable

Great shoes my review

I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 just because it's wider. My son has a narrow foot but we will put on thick cotton socks and make it work. Great shoes, exactly as pictured.

Pros
  • My baby wore them so I can't say if they were comfortable as he hasn't told me yet.
Cons
  • It wasn't the size I chose, it was too big.

Not worth the money!

The shoes have been worn once for a few hours (a walk around the mall) and have been worn. The bottom of the shoe also looks worn. Not worth the money!

Pros
  • Quality construction for durability
Cons
  • Not waterproof

Poor quality in my rating

I bought these shoes for my child for school. They have been worn 3 days a week for the past 6 weeks. My kid only wears them to school, never to the gym and never to the park. After less than 18 socks they are completely ruined.

Pros
  • Parents trust us for the comfort and safety of their children.
Cons
  • Not suitable for growing feet

Adorable shoe, trim completely worn away on first light wear

I love Stride Wright. They fit my child's wide feet and are generally well made. I ordered them for a wedding in December because he was a ring bearer. My 4 year old wore these shoes once - in the aisle and sat in reception for maybe two hours - and the toe of both shoes is completely ruined. As if the suede was so thin/poorly finished that it rubbed off like paint. For the price I am extremely disappointed. These are his playing shoes now.

Pros
  • Genuine leather upper for a stylish look
Cons
  • Not sweat proof

Decent dress or down shoes

Got them for my grandson. He seems to like her. They hold up better than some of them. They're a rite of passage, so it fits well. They look great with khaki pants.

Pros
  • Bought for my 3 year old for a wedding! Ideal
Cons
  • After wearing it once for the school program, the artificial leather on the toes was completely worn out.

Complete garbage! Do not buy!

I have purchased Stride Rite shoes many times and they have all been genuine leather and excellent quality. These are made of a very cheap material with paint on it that peels off instantly. When my son put them on for the first time the paint started peeling and after a week there was a hole in the front. I am very disappointed in the poor quality of this shoe.

Pros
  • It fits perfectly.
Cons
  • My 2 year old wore them twice and they started to fall off. waste of money

Scratches after 1 week of use

Unfortunately this shoe initially looks great and comfortable but after just a week of use my 19m son has made some scratches that cannot be removed. This is a quality issue as I see multiple comments on this after Ward. Then I give them back

Pros
  • These shoes are the best I have had for my little one since birth. M9ney value for money well spent
Cons
  • The shoes literally fell apart within a few weeks of purchase. The rubber sole came off the boot.

How sweet! ... in my opinion

Bought these for my 3 year old and they are adorable! He doesn't wear them every day, only on special occasions so I can't say how long they will last. But they are true to size, easy to dress up and very cute!

Pros
  • Both of my boys had chunky feet as babies and it was so perfect for them! I love the style and the customization.
Cons
  • The faux leather came loose after the first wear.

Narrow seam over the fingers.

The place where the tongue connects to the boot is very tight. My son has pretty big feet and this wasn't an option - usually elastics are good for big feet but these shoes were very small.

Pros
  • Very cute shoes, the only problem is that you have to take out the insole for chubby kids. work anyway.
Cons
  • The toe of this shoe wore out within a week.

Damage from a sock.

My toddler (4 years old) wore them to daycare for painting and they came home completely worn. So sad because the shoes look so pretty and slip easily!

Pros
  • Flexible soles that support natural movement
Cons
  • Poor bow support

Terrible wear and tear - not like other Stride-Rite shoes!

I've bought nothing but Stride-Rite shoes for my little one since he could walk. From time to time I had to buy new shoes when he outgrew them, but this time I had to buy new shoes because they were BROKEN. Today I got a call from the kindergarten to get him new shoes because the soles came off. I was extremely disappointed with how quickly I got scratched on the outside, but this is ridiculous. I bought these shoes in May and he started wearing them in August. For them to fall apart in less…

Pros
  • Timeless design that never goes out of style
Cons
  • Not universal

Fell apart after wearing it the first time

I'm usually a big fan of the right pitch, but unfortunately they fall apart after just one wear. Would not recommend for this reason.

Pros
  • I am very happy with this shoe
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor play

Great for bulging legs

Bought them for my sister's wedding. My son was at the wedding. He was a year old and needed shoes that would keep him from tripping. His feet are too big for cowboy boots and most dress shoes. They were perfect because they were wider than most formal shoes AND they were comfortable for him. The wedding took place on a mountain in New Hampshire, so the terrain was unstable and they held up great. We didn't want him hitting a landing on his way to the altar (out in the open the altar would…

Pros
  • Perfect for fancy occasions or school uniforms
Cons
  • run closely

abominable! Torn off on 1st day of wearing to school!

UNBELIEVABLE! I'm more than disappointed! I sent my little boy to school in these BRAND NEW shoes and picked him up with shoes that looked like he had been wearing them for 3 years! I'm outraged and want my money back! I wish I could give this ZERO STARS IM SO MAD.

Pros
  • Non-marking outsole for added security
Cons
  • hard to crack

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Ridiculously bad quality

These shoes were worn the first time they were worn. They were a Christmas present for my grandson. He only wears them a few times a week and they already look worn. The socks are completely black due to abrasion and the velcro is longer than necessary. Very disappointed with the quality of this shoe. Stride Rite isn't what it used to be.

Pros
  • Simple yet stylish design that complements any outfit
Cons
  • Run little by little
