I've tried using these light strip connectors but they are wired backwards so they don't connect properly to the strip. inferior quality.

When moving the LED strip, there is not enough space under the metal pins or the plastic piece that holds the strip. I had to take a razor blade and lift the strips slightly to get the strip in place. This worked well and I was able to plug all my lights into recessed lights.
