Robust and very precise design

Robust but easy to work with. Very accurately aligns 2" x 2" steel tubing for welding structural corner rails and leaves plenty of room for tacking and welding. Good price to get the job done right and fast

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Not Square - Angle Clamp

Received and measured square to machinist accuracy. The attachment was wide in the xy direction. Seems to be accurate in xz and yz. Very durable. Comes with an inspection report that is completely fictitious. Mine didn't even come close to matching the numbers on the page.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Doubtful

No problems and easy to use

The unit I received did not have any of the shape problems described in the previous reviews with pictures. Mine was clean and works great. FYI, I've tried attaching three 3" x 3" corners but the screw legs don't go far enough to make them work with this depth of aluminum corner. However, the regular clamp worked well enough that it wasn't needed.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

Poor quality and workmanship.

Poor workmanship and terrible shaping on the collar I received. Looks like the clip was ripped and repaired with Bondo. I paid full price for this tool from a reputable tool maker, I should have gotten a quality product. Warranty and Downtime.

Pros
  • Free magnetic stops to support and stabilize the long shaft!
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great vise for corner clamps

These were first used to clamp 1 1/4" square tubing for a welding carriage project. Works very well, holds up great. I only used 2 axes for this job. From the bottom, the box looked like it had fallen out of an airplane. The T-handle on the bottom clamp was bent, I was able to straighten it in a vise. Should have been better packaged given the weight.

Pros
  • T-Split (2.5″)
Cons
  • Drill Bit Pack

Takes Welding to the Next Level

Buy one at a time first. Strange, strange Revain price for this item. One costs $211, and a pack of two, three, or four costs $300 each. It took my table foot welding to the next level. An absolutely essential tool in my shop now. The first day we used it, we put three table feet together, flipped them on the floor and found zero wobble. You get a level of precision you just can't get with a reversible clamp. The 1 inch piece of scrap works like a spacer to keep the other end of the pieces…

Pros
  • Elbows (3.75″)
Cons
  • No Instructions
