Very small third hand.

The device serves its purpose. However, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the dimensions when ordering. It's a lot smaller than it looks in the photos. And the clip at the end is pretty thin. But it works and is very convenient. I just wish it was about twice the size and twice the weight.

Pros
  • Welding machine
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Other designs only use the spikes on the front and the back has more surface area and stability. I understand why they added spikes on the back as well, but they are too unstable and difficult to use. I went through the return window so I'll just weld another tail but it should work better than it does now.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Out of fashion

How many times have you had to staple small parts that were slightly wrong because you had to adjust them? Well it happens to me. I have seen and tried these. Wow, that really is a third hand and I don't know how I managed without it. In art/craft welding you often have a small piece that is difficult to assemble, hold to fasten. The front clamp and rear ground strap are well designed and obviously invented by a welder. This solves many problems. I liked it so much that I also ordered a regular

Pros
  • Arc Welder
Cons
  • Available in white only
