Too many errors during installation very slow

I have flashed the SD card with the operating system about 40 times and I can never fully load the software. Sometimes it freezes when running Linux code on a black screen. Other times I get to the desktop setup and in the end it just goes black, forcing me to restart the whole process. I am returning this board for a new one to see if I had a defective board. Also, I used about four different SD cards and tried to install this OS over 200 times.

Interesting single board computer for AI research

Beginning to show its age in the rapidly changing AI computing arena. Still a great price around $100. Not the easiest SBC to use, but if you're familiar with Ubuntu Linux you won't have a problem with it. There are many helpful guides out there that can save you a lot of time getting started. The Nvidia Jetson forum contains a lot of useful, searchable information. Even with a Maxwell GPU, it's not a "supercomputer" but is very effective as a development system. No luck and it won't boot from Micro-USB anymore (updated)

Update: (2020-04-23) I got the barrel power supply today and it worked. Therefore I am changing the star to a higher one. However, I still think it should have worked with the microUSB power supply I received last week, the microUSB could be causing the problem, but I have verified that it works with my Raspberry Pi board. Good product. I'm amazed at what it's capable of using less than 20 watts.

When I first bought this I couldn't turn it on. I have poor eyesight and thought the jumper was in the correct position for the 5V 4A power supply. Be sure to pull it out and cover the other pin. Do not attempt to run it from a lower amperage power supply as performance will be halved or worse. Also make sure you have a fan. This thing gets hot and the GPU will slow down when it gets hot. The fans are difficult to screw onto the heatsink, but it's worth it as the performance increases by around
