I bought a ring light that this remote will work with. It works great! You also have the option to increase the brightness beyond what the built-in controls on the ring light itself allow. If you plan on getting more than one ring light this is a must as you can pair and control them all with this remote.

I cannot put into words how much I love this product. This is exactly what I needed for my kit. Aside from my satisfaction with the actual product, I also have to commend the customer service. They answered my questions immediately and solved all my problems satisfactorily. If you hesitate between this and a similar product, choose this one! You will not be disappointed.

The remote control is great for adjusting the brightness remotely; However, turning off the ring lamp with the remote control does not guarantee that it will remain off. It randomly turns on at the oddest times, and if it's not detected fairly quickly, the light will overheat a bit. I just bought a plug with a remote on/off switch and connected a light to it, that should fix the problem.
