The fur was soft, I was impressed with all the cat's actions, and the meow was cute. I wish there was a volume button but other than that I like it.

He jumps, bows and hops, although sometimes he looks like would he rub on the floor meows and barks a bit too but doesn't make dog noises the only problem is that it's noisy we can't find a speaker but we plan on stuffing some cotton balls in it

Wow! What a bang for your buck. At first we didn't know how it worked but when we googled it we found out that it can be tapped on its tail or next to it and that it does a lot of silly tricks like meows, purrs, hopping up and down, handstands(?) , sketches and more. My 8 year old daughter loved it so much she made a "Cookie Crafts" video on her YT channel which might be helpful as there were no detailed instructions in the box. It requires 4 AA batteries.

My daughter saved two months to buy this sweet baby. She loves it and has carried it with her since it opened. I'm so glad her effort paid off. Unfortunately, the poor thing makes the most amazing and confusing noises. Sounds a bit like a poor desperate cat. I want to love her new little pet, but I just can't get rid of the grinding mechanical noise it makes. If it is placed on a table or other empty object, the noise will be louder.

My children have always wanted pets in the house, but due to allergies we always had to disagree with them. When I saw our neighbor's kid playing with this cute cat toy, I immediately thought my kids would love it too. I ordered one and it arrived quickly! When we installed the batteries my 2 year old daughter and 4 year old boy were so excited. The toy is so cute! They played with him all the time. Only thing I have to say is that it takes a lot of batteries lol.

The sheet of paper labeled "User's Guide" has instructions for installing the batteries, but doesn't tell you how to initiate any of the eight moves. I had to smack his back hard for something to happen, after which he made a random movement and made some really lame sound effects. Simply touching anywhere, including the tail, has no effect. Only the crown and head are soft/plush. Most of the body and legs are made of hard plastic or metal. Don't waste money on it.

Bought this toy for my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas. Once activated, the cat would stand on its hind legs and meow. My granddaughter's eyes widened and she started laughing with joy. She played with him until he fell asleep and then slept with him. The next day we all went to a family reunion and she brought this toy. Now she makes the same sounds as a cat and mimics her movements when playing with her. The cat is soft, fun and worth the money.

WOW. First, this is a great toy. Children up to and including 9 enjoy watching his tricks and funny noises. My son named his cat Jerry. Jerry the cat is happy in our house and makes all kinds of realistic sounds. Also, after a few weeks the front legs started making a horrible crunch, I didn't know what it was!
