It was perfect for our little girl who was a flower girl. It was a smaller version of the hairstyle we bought for the bride. This kept our daughter's hair up nicely with a little ribbon because even her thin hair was a bit thick for a bobby pin. If we placed it on one side of the head to hold back part of the hair, the hair clip would be too heavy. Do not regret the purchase in any way, you just need to work with it and a few additional tools that most people need when creating a "hairstyle”.
